Markets are a huge part of daily life in Vietnam. From the floating markets on the Mekong to roadside stands in rural communities to permanent infrastructure in the larger towns such as this one near Can Tho, you are never far from delicious fresh food. One thing that really struck us about Vietnam was the happiness and friendliness of the people. Whether sharing a laugh with a neighbour at the market like this woman or greeting us with a warm hello, we truly enjoyed the Vietnamese people.
